A passionate entrepreneur and investor, Dustin Sellers presently serves as the Managing Director for Koa Capital Partners, a boutique private equity firm focused on mid-market opportunities in Hawaii and on the West Coast.

He most recently served as co-owner and president of business development and marketing for ProService, Hawaii’s largest HRO. He and his partner purchased ProService in 2005 using a Search Fund investment vehicle, recapping the business in late 2007 and eventually selling a majority stake in 2013; initial investors received 11X their money representing a ~132% IRR.

Under he and his partner’s management, ProService grew from a fledgling company of $13M in annual revenue to $120M with close to 20,000 client employees supported.

Prior to joining ProService, Sellers served as GM for Ingenio/Keen, Inc. a Benchmark Capital funded Web 1.0 start-up e-commerce company in San Francisco which he helped start. While there, he oversaw all aspects of key revenue producing service lines, growing the business to close to $100M in revenue in 3 years; Keen was subsequently sold to AT&T Solutions as part of their digital growth strategy.
Before that, he worked as a senior manager for the boutique consulting group Potomac Partners in Los Angeles focusing on e-commerce strategy for Fortune 100 companies and manager/senior consultant for Braxton Associates/Deloitte Consulting in Los Angeles and Chicago.

Born and raised in Honolulu, Sellers is a graduate of Punahou School. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Southern California in ’91 with an emphasis in Entrepreneurial Studies and a master’s degree in business administration from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University in ‘97.

Sellers serves as a trustee for The Nature Conservancy of Hawaii and is outgoing Chapter Chair ofYPO (Young Presidents Organization). Sellers resides in Honolulu, Hawaii with his wife Lisa and three children, and enjoys spending his spare time surfing, skiing, playing soccer and fly fishing.
